Pricing:

  • The listed price is your deposit only.
  • Final cost is $5.00/lb based on the animal’s hanging weight (approx. 125 lbs for a quarter beef).
  • Processing fees average $1.25/lb, paid directly to the butcher and are an additional cost.
  • After all costs are paid, a quarter beef with standard cuts typically costs about $725 (approx. $7.25/lb packaged after bone loss).

Processing Details:

  • Beef is processed in fall (October–November), depending on the animal’s readiness.
  • Processing occurs at Byron Center Meats (8375 Freeland Ave SW, Byron Center, MI 49315 | P: 616-878-1578).
  • You are responsible for picking up your order and paying the butcher at the time of pickup.

Additional Information:

  • Raised on Michigan’s lush pastures, our Grass-Fed beef is chemical-free, non-GMO, and free from growth hormones, antibiotics, and vaccines.
  • For whole beef, pre-order a quantity of “4”; for half beef, order “2.”
  • Deposits are non-refundable and are applied to the final balance.
  • No shipping or delivery across state lines—pickup only.
